The main tasks of CSCIEE focus on the following:

◆ To recruit overseas teachers and scholars to teach in China;
◆ To arrange short-term and long-term study tours to China for overseas educational administrators,
teachers, scholars and students;
◆ To establish the “Working Committee of Chinese-Foreign Cooperation in Running Schools”
under the support of Ministry of Education, to provide consulting service on Chinese-Foreign
Cooperation in Running Schools for the universities both at home and abroad;
◆ To cooperate with universities of foreign countries to establish the language and foundation course
for Chinese high school graduates who want to study abroad;
◆ To organize“The International Foreign Languages Contest for Youth”;
◆ To organize overseas training programs and study delegations for Chinese educational professionals;
◆ To undertake training programs for CEAIE's member institutions and departments of MOE.
